Cleland Wildlife Park
  • Head to Port Elliot for the Donut of the Month. Make a day of it; check out the beautiful beach and explore the cute shop fronts along the main street

  • Use a day off to invest in yourself. Do something you've been wanting to try for ages but haven't got around to; A yoga class, try meditating to start your day, the puzzle that's been half finished for a few weeks, start a new book.
  • The Ferris wheel at Glenelg, could be followed up by a DIY picnic on the beach front
  • Homemade cocktails; This is a little more pricy as you need to buy all the alcohol, BUT much cheaper than heading to the local and paying $10 per drink. Here's a link to some of my personal fave recipes: BBC Good Food Cocktail Recipes
  • Homemade Espresso Martini!!
Bouldering: Clovelly Park Beyond Bouldering has some great (and cheap) start up bundles for new comers wanting to try their hand at bouldering!
  • Get some sun! Go for a swim either in a pool or at the beach. Don't forget to slip slop slap!
  • Get your Great British Bake Off on. Either whip up a storm in the kitchen solo, or have a friend join you and compare your creations at the end.

However you choose to spend your day off, get out (or stay in) and do something fun! You need time to wind down, relax and have a break from work or study. You owe yourself some fun time, and your mental and physical health will be all the better for it. Make sure to schedule some me time each week, even if it's just a few hours where you are able to do an activity you love!
